Walton Institute and Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) are among the successful applicants of the €6 million Capital Equipment Fund administered by Enterprise Ireland through the Technology Gateway and Technology Centre Programmes. Funding will be used for world leading research equipment including: Digital Photogrammetry Lab at Walton Institute, Micro x-ray Fluorescence Analysis System at SEAM, Coordinate Measurement Machine at SEAM, White Light Interferometer at SEAM, and Near Infrared Spectrometer at PMBRC.
The Walton Institute is co-located with ArcLabs at WIT's West Campus. Clients of ArcLabs enjoy access to some of Europe's top researchers, scientists and engineers.
