FeedHenry wins Tech Award at CTIA Wireless 2010
March 29 2010 Clients Enterprise Ireland Spin-Out TSSGCongratulations to the team at FeedHenry who came second in the Mobile Marketing and Advertising category at the CTIA Wireless 2010 conference in Las Vegas. This is a particularly impressive win at a conference which lives up to its billing as one of the biggest technology events in the world.
FeedHenry is a spin-out from research at TSSG and creates solutions for building and deploying cross-platform business and telecoms apps that run on all smartphones, social media sites and browsers.
FeedHenry was on the Irish Pavillion (sponsored by Enterprise Ireland) at the CTIA event, which showcased a number of Irish technology companies.

The Future Internet - Services for a Connected World
October 06 2008 Events TSSGTSSG will host The Irish Future Internet Forum in the Dublin Digital Exchange (part of the Digital Hub) on Wednesday 29th Oct 2008.
What will the network of the future look like? What can we expect from it, what are the implications of the Future Internet on our economic development and societal progress? Why should you be interested?
Understanding the implications of this emerging connected society is critical for Ireland’s academic and industrial success. The TSSG would like to invite you to a National Irish Future Internet event to be held on the 29th October 2008 in the Digital Exchange, Digital Hub in Dublin 8. The purpose of the event is to create a forum for discussing the challenges and opportunities for ICT in Ireland relating to the research and development of the Future Internet, both in terms of managing the network infrastructure, and in terms of enabling flexible service creation and deployment
The event will feature a number of keynote presentations from internationally renowned speakers, including a talk from Rainer Zimmermann, Head of Unit “Future Networks”, European Commission, DG Information Society and Media (DG-INFSO).
The event starts at 1.30pm and will end with a cocktail / networking session at approximately 6pm.

Zimbie in the news
August 18 2008 TSSGCommercialising third-level research
A TSSG spin-out technology called Zimbie was featured today in a Silicon Republic report on commercialising third-level research. Zimbie is an instant messaging product that allows text alerts for last minute offers to be sent to time-sensitive subscribers. The product works by harvesting alerts from a variety of sources, such as RSS feeds, and filters the information to give clients a customised text alert service.
