FeedHenry wins Tech Award at CTIA Wireless 2010

Congratulations to the team at FeedHenry who came second in the Mobile Marketing and Advertising category at the CTIA Wireless 2010 conference in Las Vegas. This is a particularly impressive win at a conference which lives up to its billing as one of the biggest technology events in the world.

FeedHenry is a spin-out from research at TSSG and creates solutions for building and deploying cross-platform business and telecoms apps that run on all smartphones, social media sites and browsers.

FeedHenry was on the Irish Pavillion (sponsored by Enterprise Ireland) at the CTIA event, which showcased a number of Irish technology companies.

FeedHenry, a spin-out from TSSG, is in the news (SiliconRepublic) this week when it was named among a select group of software vendors who will partner with Oracle for its standards-based service delivery platform (SDP).

FeedHenry is using the Oracle Communication and Mobility Server (OCMS) platform to create converged web and mobile services that telcos can deploy on their portals. Their tools are already in use with a European telecoms operator and further trials are underway in Europe and the US.

The FeedHenry team has grown rapidly as the product gathers momentum, so much so that the team needed more office space and moved on from ArcLabs to new premises in Waterford. Sad to see the team go but its great to to see how well they are progressing
