Using a repeatable and effective sales process is a perennial issue for many companies, and particularly so for start-ups that where there may be more technical than business expertise in the company. Promoting the start-up company is another major area that entrepreneurs struggle with.

On May 8, we are running a pilot workshop called, “Developing a Successful Sales Strategy”, which will address the sales process. Instead of the usual blurb on sales techniques, this workshop will be delivered by an entrepreneur, Tom Doherty, who has started and run a number of successful businesses and has developed a proven sales methodology through his own experience and training. The pilot workshop is sold out but we hope to make this an ongoing event at ArcLabs.

On June 3, Damien Mulley will deliver a “Blogging for Business” workshop to help early-stage companies to use a blog as an effective communications tool. The workshop will be available for bookings from next week.
