Dr.Willie Donnelly
Willie is Head of Research and Innovation at Waterford Institute of Technology where he co- founded the Telecommunications Software and Systems Group (TSSG). The TSSG has become one of the leading R&D centres within the European Framework programmes. It has grown to 127 people and has received over 30 million Euro in competitive funding. Willie has supervised over 20 MSc and PhD students in WIT.
Mr. Philip Flynn
Philip is CEO of the Digital Hub Development Agency. This is a Government project aimed at creating a centre of excellence for Digital Media in enterprise, education and the arts. Dublin City Council, Enterprise Ireland & the IDA are key partners in the initiative.
Mr. Tony McFeely
Tony is Secretary/Financial Controller at Waterford Institute of Technology. The Institute currently has some six thousand full-time students, a staff of eleven hundred, an operating budget of almost €70m. and a research budget of €15m. The Institute has recently made an application for University designation.
Mr. Tom Moylan
Tom is Principal Strategy Consultant, Ericsson Ireland. This involves assisting Ericsson clients worldwide in network and operational strategy development. He is also responsible for strategy consulting competence development within the Ericsson global organisation.
Dr. Bill O’Gorman
Bill is Head of Research at WIT’s Centre for Entrepreneurship. His research is focused on developing entrepreneurial regions, examining the linkages between multinational corporations and indigenous companies, technology and knowledge transfer processes, and the transition process from entrepreneurial to professional manager.
Ms. Veronica Perdisatt
Veronica is a successful businesswoman with over 25 years experience at Senior and Executive Management level across a range of industries.
Dr. Shai Vyakarnam
Shai is Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge and holds two visiting professorships; at Reading University and at Nottingham Trent. In addition, he is founder of Transitions a consulting business and Tristart which has developed a web-based entrepreneurial assessment tool.
